Q and A with JJ

Q: A while back you answered my question about Batman vs Spiderman. Now that The Dark Knight is out, I was wondering which Batman movie is your favorite.

A: The original Batman from 1989 has long been my favorite Batman movie. However, I watched The Dark Knight three times in four days and that movie easily ranks as my favorite Batman picture of all-time. In addition, it’s probably the best movie that’s come out since No Country for Old Men.

Q: In your opinion, what team in the league has improved itself the most during the off season via the draft and free agency?

A:Well, the “offseason” is not yet complete so it’s hard to make a judgment call on this question. There’s still a lot of restricted
free agents on the market and there’s always possibilities of more trades. At this point, I can’t answer this question- ask me again in
September and I’ll have a definitive answer. I will say that Elton Brand going to Philly was a big move.

Q: It’s no secret that you are a Farve fan. What’s your take on his situation now?

A: Obviously, it’s a difficult situation for both Favre and the Green Bay Packers organization. I was happy that Brett originally retired when he did because he went out at the top of his game (he made the Pro Bowl last year). But if the guy feels like he can still play and wants to go out and compete then more power to him- he should do it. It’s up to the Packers as to how they want to handle his request.

Yes, I’m interested in updates!

I thought The Dark Knight was pretty amazing too! Probably the best Batman movie ever! Anyways, I think it’s really good how you take time out to answer our questions! That’s probably why you have such a strong fan base! I can’t wait for ya’ll to come play in OKC.

I’ve always been a Philly fan in every pro sport then I added the Magic in 2006 and on top of that I’ve loved Duke forever so I’m happy about the trade but I don’t want them to sweep the Magic..(if you are still their) best of luck this season!! Peace and Love Kestrel

JJ. JJ. JJ. I just wanted to give you some words of encouragement because you are still one of my favorite magic players. We all know the talent you have offensively. You have one of (if not the most) dangerous jumpshots in the NBA. That will allow you to be able to get open shots for other players. You already know how to play defense. Stay in front of your man and box out. You already know you have to work on your footwork. That’s it. All this time you’re sitting on the bench, you get to take in a lot of information and learn. I understand you want your chance, and I would to, but I bet you, when you do get in the game, it will be the perfect timing for you. You have a lot of basketball left in you. I just don’t want you to get to down on the situation and stop working hard. Sounds like you’ve been working hard this whole summer. I know it’s been rough so far in the NBA, but this experience is going to make you appreciate playing even more, and makes you work even harder. Making you better. KEEP YOUR HEAD UP JJ. YOUR TIME IS COMING IN ORLANDO!!!! THAT JUMPSHOT IS STILL MAGIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the dark knight was also my favorite movie in the batman saga, and i think by the way it ended there will another coming in the near future. and yes, i agree this was the best movie since no country for old men, though i am still trying to figure out the ending, but also, the love guru is in a close third not far behind no country. now on the favre situation, this is very tough for me, seeing as i have lived in wisconsin my entire life, and that entire lifespan i have been a packer fan, mainly because of favre. the receent fiasco’s he and the packer’s have gone through have made me lose a lot of respect for him, but the fact that he is now saying he will be in packers training camp made me happy, even though he should have stayed retired

JJ we are pulling for you for many reasons, mainly because you are a true example of how to carry yourself in your profession. We are new to your site and look forward to following your career in the NBA. We’ve been to a few Magic games hoping that this is the one that we get to see you “light it up”. Stay strong, keep working out, and your time will come.
