Red Sox Nation

What an opening game for the Boston Red Sox! Josh Beckett pitched nothing short of a gem tonight and Ortiz came through as always. I’ve got a good feeling about this team haha. Hopefully Dice-K will pitch a great game 2. October is always a great month for sports. The summer months are sometimes a little slow (no basketball, no football, and no World Cup this year) and this month is good for a number of reasons:

1) NFL and NCAA football are in full swing.
2) MLB playoffs. Even better when the Sox are involved.
3) Basketball season starts, of course.

Training camp is in full swing now. Luckily, tomorrow is the last of the two-a-day practices. It’s crazy to think that we start playing games on Monday. Shelden and the Hawks will be in town for our first preseason game. I can’t wait. Our team looks good so far. We our really pushing the ball up the floor and getting more comfortable with playing at a different pace. We are going to be a little small with Tony Battie’s injury but we should create some matchup problems on the offensive end of the floor. Look for our team to be a lot of fun to watch. Defensively, we should be solid. Coach Van Gundy is very detail-orientated and is big on principles.

I’ve realized this week that my life is extremely busy during the season. We haven’t even started travelling yet and it’s already hectic. However, I have managed to get a little bit of HALO 3 time in. I got the game last week when it came up and didn’t even open it until two nights ago. Yesterday I played for four hours- I know, that is sick. But in all honesty, I rarely play video games anymore (maybe four or five hours a month). There is something about HALO though that I enjoy. HALO 3 is by far the best game yet, in my opinion.

Aight y’all be good and have a great rest of the week. Be bold. Peace.

Yes, I’m interested in updates!
