Q: Did you ever play any other sports like baseball or football growing up? If yes, would you say that you were pretty good at them?
A: The only sport I played growing up was baseball. To be honest,
baseball was my first love. I was a pretty darn good pitcher. In
four years of Little League, I only lost once as a pitcher and oddly
enough I had 17 strikeouts that game (there’s only 18 total outs in
Little League). But alas, I didn’t have time in the summer to play
both AAU basketball and baseball so I quit baseball in the 7th grade.
In my opinion, I was better at baseball than I was at basketball at
the time I quit baseball.
Q: How many pairs of sneakers do you go through in one season?
A: I usually change game shoes every two weeks and change practice
shoes once a month. I’m not a mathematician so I’m not going to
attempt to give you an exact estimate but I’d say I go through 20-25
pairs of shoes. Whenever I’m done with a pair of game shoes I sign
them and give them away.
Q: Will you be involved with the Summer League in Orlando at all this year.
A: Obviously, no.
Q: Any favorite youtube videos you can share with us fans?
A: I enjoy watching youtube videos as much as anyone. A couple of my
favorites are:
“Charlie bit my finger,”
“Battle at Kruger,”
“Evil Eye Baby”
.
Some of
you have probably seen these but if you haven’t, please enjoy.

Those were pretty cool and very funny. Check this out. You really have to watch all of this one, and maybe see it more than once to get the full affect. It gives me chills every time I see it. I hope it does the same for everyone else.

My 13 year old son has loved watching you play since you were at Duke. We have many of your games recorded and he watches them often. Last year we bought tickets to see ya’ll play in Houston. I am sure you don’t remember but during pre-game you were heading to get a ball on the corner by your bench and my son was up bout 15 rows at the rail with your Duke jersey on and he kinda hollered your name and you looked up and nodded/waved…..he was so pumped!!! We are hoping you come to a team in the West…preferably Rockets or Mavs just so we could come watch you more often. You keep your head up. Things will work out!

Those videos were pretty funny. Well its cool that you played baseball because all three of my brothers played and i have a lot of friends from my graduating class that play and its always fun to watch. I thought about playing softball but i never got around to it so i just go to my brother’s girlfriend’s games and watch which is also fun. I hope to see you play more next season.
