Q: What’s the best advice you have ever received?
A: The best advice I ever received? Wow, now that’s a tough
question. I’ve received a lot of great advice from several
outstanding people. I would have to say the best advice I’ve gotten
is from my parents. When I was a kid they told me to dream big and to
always chase my dreams. I’ve tried to do that my whole life and will
continue to do that. I owe a lot to mom and pops.
Q: Hows it goin man , i just got a question who does your suits man they are very nice ….....
A: I am fashion-obsessed and suits are probably my favorite thing to
wear. Not quite sure what it is about putting a suit on but it makes
me feel empowered. To answer your question, I have all my suits
custom made by Ermenegildo Zegna. I love the cut of an Italian suit-
it’s very elegant.
Q: Do you think the rule that makes players go to college for one year is fair? Seems like everyone except the players benefit from it.
A: I think the current rule is a stupid rule. First of all, the
system hurts schools who sign one and done caliber players because
there is no continuity in the program. In addition, there is a
greater risk of a school cheating in the recruiting process in the
hopes of landing a star player. Having said that, I think the biggest
problem with the current rule is that it contradicts capitalism. As
athletes, we have a very small window of time (maybe 10-15 years at
the most) to make money. Like it or not, sports is our livelihood.
When you say that a kid can’t enter the NBA out of high school you are
taking away a year of salary. The NBA is a business, and high school
players should be able to enter the draft so that they can take
advantage of the business. But that’s just my opinion.

But I see that you have the determination to do what it takes to be a great player in the NBA, and to me that makes me wonder, where do you get the motivation? That makes since and i was wondering is this the last year of your contract with the magic and if so do you want to stay with them or go else where? i do know if they had any brains they wld start you with howard cause if he gets doubled then he can kick it out to you and you can do ur thing lol

i am a huge fan and would like to know why you believe 100% you will be a magic next year. all the talk is trades and they drafted a guy at your spot. also how do you feel about playing point guard. thanks and best of luck. by the way .we will follow you if in fact you are traded. jacklj

I respect your opinion about the nba and kids going right from college. But let me ask you this; do you really think that kids have enough skills/bball knowledge to play at that level? not everybody can be a kobe bryant. don’t you think that they should be required to get some college ball experience? and i don’t mean 1 year…two years minimum. i understand that the nba is a business and a livelihood, no disrespect to you or anyone else, but i’ve never liked kids going right from highschool to the pros. to me some education is better than none.
again, just my opinion and i hope you don’t take offense to any of this. i respect you as a person and am not trying to cause problems.

Having said that a player should be able to enter the NBA draft out of high school and from an educational standpoint, do you think staying in school at Duke for 4 years was beneficial for you? You could have come out in your Junior year or even before and probably would have done just as well. From my perspective, I believe entering the draft out of high school hurts the professional game. Players that young are not mature enough to make the jump from high school to the pros. Lebron got it right, but Dwight is pretty much still a baby.

i totally agree with you on the nba rule its really stupid, aww you love fashion like me im totally obsessed with clothes their a way to express yourself. my advice is you go big in life or go home thats what a kid told me haha! peace it easy gorgeous:D
